This is a good entry level Singer Featherweight 221 from 1947. It sews well, and has been professionally serviced by Nova.
It has an original carrying case with a cleat in the lid (for storing the foot controller), box of six original attachments, and original Bakelite foot controller.
The gold decals are almost entirely intact, but the finish is not bright and shiny and there is some damage to the finish of the machine including an unremovable tape mark on the front - see photos. The case is sturdy with good latches, but has a blemish on the top right of the lid - see photos. The motor seems strong, but the machine sews slower than some machines.
